Rogstaff's newest import has finally touched the Norwegian ground. He is the first of the two puppies which will be brought to Norway from kennel Fransimo Bohemia in Czech Republic.

I would like to give a heartfelt thank to Simona and Petr for betrusting me with this lovely puppy.

On 5th November I'm leaving Norway to pick up a stunning black male from kennel Fransimo Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Many thanks to Simona for blessing me with a puppy from her lovely kennel.
 
Next weekend another girl from the same breeder is expected to arrive in Bergen Airport. Vibeke from kennel Cirkusborgen has been a good help picking up mine and their blue female at the same time.

After a tragic and sudden death of Electra I hope this will be the beginning of something better.

Today I am glad to say we have got a new male addition to our kennel. He is a beautiful pied male and will be imported from Sweden within 7-8weeks.

Today we have lost our beloved "Electra", she was playing with some wooden stick which has a tragic outcome.

When I woke up yesterday morning and noticed she was not herself, I went to the Soma Animal Clinic unsuspecting of what awaited me. The vet quickly ascertained that she had a constipation in the intestines, which after several tests proved to not be able to fix other than put subject her to an operation.

During the operation the constipation was established to come from 2 small pins (residues), which had jammed. The operation went smoothly, and although she was weak after the operation I thought she was on the mend, but today when I again was at vet to give her more medication and fluid .. She became much more nimble than yesterday.

The operation was all too big strain on her heart and she drew her last breath at vet. A tragic outcome, the losing a dog you are so fond of can not be described in words.
But I do hope this can at least be a "wake up call " for others, to realize that you have to be careful about letting dogs playing with sticks. Have never thought of this as dangerous before until I sat at the vet ... but unfortunately SO ALL WAY too late.

Electra will be deeply missed.

I am happy to announce that the father to Electra's next litter will be Staffgold Bruce Wayne.

To bring Staffgold well known "bloodlines" into my kennel is something I really look forward to.

All puppies have now left their nest and are now living with their new and happy family.

Tonight Electra got her first litter.
7 stunning puppies, 3 males and 4 females. Both mom and puppies are doing well. They are all red with white markings.

Electra and Atlas are hopefully expecting their first litter in a couple of months. The mating today went well and if everything turns out as we hope will get a stunning litter in the end of May 2010.

All puppies have now left their nest and began a new life with their happy owners.
